A resin is applied to the gums for protection
Opalescence® whitening gel is applied to the
teeth for about 15 minutes

How Does Teeth Whitening Work?

Tooth stains can be interior or exterior. Whitening toothpastes and mouth rinses can remove some of the external stains on your teeth, but only teeth whitening agents can remove the more stubborn external stains and the hard-to-reach internal stains that cause your teeth to look discolored.
