Traditional Braces
Traditional braces consist of metal brackets, bands, and wires that are attached to the front surface of the teeth. The wires are attached to the brackets and tightened to adjust the positioning of the teeth and jaw. The wires need to be tightened periodically.
In-House Clear Aligners
In addition to Invisalign, we offer our own In-House Clear Aligners that work in a similar manner. During your consultation, we will work with you to determine which treatment better meets your unique needs.
Invisalign
Invisalign clear aligners offer an effective and discreet alternative to traditional metal braces. When treating orthodontic issues with Invisalign, you will wear a series of custom-fitted, clear aligners over your teeth. The aligners will slowly adjust the positioning of the teeth and jaw. Each aligner is replaced with a new one approximately every two weeks until treatment is complete. The aligners are removable which means there are no diet limitations. You will also be able to brush and floss normally; however, it is important to know that they must be worn a minimum of 20-22 hours per day to be effective. Patients appreciate Invisalign because they are comfortable and virtually invisible.
